Learning and Teaching Scotland developed a comprehensive online resource documenting the history of Scots and Canada. The website features audio, video and a large image gallery.
Process
The design had to incorporate many elements spanning various periods. After presenting some initial ideas, I went back to the drawing board and simplified the designs. Rather than trying to cram too much in, I hunted high and low for an image that would immerse me in “Canada”. I found it and the rest just flowed around it. Sometimes you need to add to know what to take away. Or something like that…
